Does anyone know what's going on with the concreteFX freebies? I can't seem to get them on GERSIC.com or even them ones on their site. The downloads start, but always terminate early, leaving an invalid archive.

...and I don't mind bumping up this threaddd.

I had the same problem(reply above me)w/ConcreteFX plugins, I used Free Download Manager and then I got them w/no problem.

The phaser and flanger IIRC were pretty wild, even though I'll never use them.

some of those Concretefx old freebies are def naassttyyyy ...the sample manglers are dope to use it on breaks ..checked around 15 minutes i was going nuts ...some of them buggish here tho

nice freebies nonetheless

Hmmmmnnnn...I tried acquiring them a number of times...thought I might have just gotten a bad download the first time around. However, after trying a few more times, I realised that there are definitely issues with quite a few of them, even the ones on their site. After reading that a few of you guys also had problems, it became clear that they are just not ready from prime time.

you have some possibilities with problematic downloads:

1. download stops in the middle and server allows resuming
-> use downloadmanager and or capable browser like opera
to RESUME the stop download

2. download seems to stop on the end and zip cannot be opened
-> use the tool pkzipfix from commandline with
"pkzipfix zipoldname.zip zipnewname.zip"
zipnewname is the repaired one

3. download stops in the middle (no server resuming)
-> restart download with downloadmanager like flashget !

4. 123
-> try different times

i read the license text files, anyway, before posting the items that i uploaded officially and they were stated as "freely redistributable", just to clear out eventual problems..i also got in touch with some of those developers to ensure that nothing was going wrong, and thats also why i avoided uploading some items, that have been previously posted by users, on gersic.com site..
