subject, I love your work. this is the second track I've heard from you that's impressed the hell out of me ("talk out loud" was the first. I love the clap-clap-bang!)...perhaps I should listen to all your stuff on myspace. keep up the good work.

@ monsterbeetle, the drums are 2 drum clips i made & the artist is called Deadly Hunta,

& heres the bass preset

@ AllenPOPO, it was one big file, its only stretched slightly (less than 1bpm) & fine tuned down by 17,

thanks for all the feed back :)

yes my internet is still running, lets hope it stays that way :?

sweet, thanks =)

hell yeah!

Wobbly synth is def sinister! Nice application of the time stretch feature, seems to keep the beat well. I would have put the multi fx on the vocal in a few different ways on seperate tracks and mix between them meybbe :D

Also a great slap in the face to the XT2 haters :P

edit:
ps - please give me access to your reggae acapella dir thx :)

Great stuff! I'm still not enamoured of XT2, but I find myself being increasingly impressed by Ski Rize Studios. :) I think you and your artists could make good tracks with pretty much any tools. ;)

wiggled more than my toes! :tu:

(edit - oops, that sounds a bit pervy... anyway, that's meant to be a complement.)

Hey Subz,

I tried but I can't help it, it feels like the lyrics are way to laid back behind the drums, almost feels like are out of sync,

just when deadly hunta says :

"to all my niggas on... etc" and then pauses and then comes back with "Smoke doggz - Smoke dogs " the S of Smoke comes a bit late after the kick

Stranger is that towards the end of the tune it's all more tight on the beat

Could you check that - I'm such a tempo maniac anyway :nutter: or I'm having bad sync between ears and brains ;)

thanks for the bass preset btw!

i did also notice this monsterbeetle

i'm not sure if its to do with the original track the vox where recorded on, it was done at bobby digital studios in JA so there where most likely some live instruments in the original,

on the final mix i will just render the vox & chop & move as needed,
