Could anybody offer any points on recreating this arp. I'm really banging my head against the wall trying to figure out both the pattern and the waveform itself. Any help would really be appreciated.

The sequence is easier to follow if you apply some time stretch so it plays in only half the speed. This is what I make of it:
Small g is an octave above the capital G, repeat ad infinitum.
The sound could be a sample of staccato electric guitar. It has a flanger effect on it that makes a lot of the character. Probably there's also a delay on it set to 3/16th tempo

Cheers BertKoor, gave that a shot earlier and bumped up a semitone it sounds spot on. Getting a bit closer on the synth front too, worse comes to worse I could sample, but I'd much prefer to synthesize it. Is there any kind of methodology to follow when trying to imitate/reverse engineer something like this, or is it just a case of practice and a good ear?
