hello sounddesigners of kvr!
i was wondering if there is any website or alike where to get waveforms to use with synths like absynth z3ta+ and all of them that can import waveforms (maybe eperimenting a bit also with sampler)
since lately ive noticed that hardware synths have different waveforms for same named waves, so i would like to try new options
i guess "square" and "saw" can mean different things on different hardware synths esp. analogue but maybe also some digital ones
thanks

Why don't you just D.I.Y. by recording steady waves and looping them as source waves?

Galbanum <www.galbanum.com> has an excellent collection which I think is exactly what you are looking for

What you can also do, is track down SynthEdit remakes of some classic synths and sample these with the filter all open. Chances are that the remakes used self-made samples.
TomG has a nice collection for instance, see http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=182135
