I downloaded the AT2 JH demo and damn! That thing sounds GOOD!!! I wasn't planning on even considering it but I loved it....and I don't even care about it being Hendrix's rig, those amps are simply awesome.
Ok, so here's my question (to Squids, I guess): how will AT2 and AT2 JH work together? Will all the amps show together in one interface or will I have to open different instances if I want to use, let's say a compressor pedal from AT2 and an amp from AT2 JH?

I'd expect it's like with Ampeg SVX - an entirely separate plugin. Shame that IK did not provide an expansion pack mechanism for AT2... maybe someday :hopes:

Maybe a downloadable content option - pick and choose between individual fx, amps, cabs etc. It would give the Amplitube platform far more mileage and IK another channel of income, while giving users more options, range and value in not having to splash out on a stand-alone boxed product.
I really like the uni-vibe and the new range of fuzz-pedals on the demo, the GUI is really nice looking too.

Squids mentioned that we will be able to combine the two but before that happens AT2 will need a code update.... I hope it will be done soon, I don't even want to think about using 2 plugs (or more) it is too CPU intensive.
The sooner this is done the sooner they will have my credit card numbers.

Any idea whether this will mean a cheaper upgrade path for AT2 owners?AndrewSimon wrote:Squids mentioned that we will be able to combine the two but before that happens AT2 will need a code update.... Yeah, the Uni-V is wicked -- love that quirky underwater chorus effect -- but the rest of the ATJH pedals are basically one giant FUZZ extravaganza which lacks the versatility of standard edition AT2, so it would be really sweet if you could mix and match parts from both plugins.pricer wrote:I really like the uni-vibe and the new range of fuzz-pedals on the demo, the GUI is really nice looking too.
