How can you get the "jazz guitar" sound?

Can ManyGuitar simulate this sound? I am thinking about the sound that basically every contemporary jazz guitarist uses. I found a sample mp3 doing a quick google search for an example of what I am looking for. There is a clip on this page, and the chorus of the song has the cool chorused variation of that sound.

Can ManyGuitar do this? If not, will ManyGuitar 2 do this? I would really like to have a good simulation of this sound. So far Plugsound Pro has the best one I've heard.

Just wanted to let you know, I read your post. I'm pretty sure I can get that tone in ManyGuitar, so I'll see what I can do!

Okay, check this out:

Both the lead and wahwah guitar are ManyGuitar. The bass is ManyBass, of course.

The tone I'm using is a little more traditional jazz guitar-sounding, but still very commonly used in smooth jazz.

Greg received a new handle "The" Jazz recently here on KVR so I figured he might come up with something here.
Once again a great demo from Greg. I really enjoyed the Bass part and sound in this one. You can hear that "Amp" tone in parts of the track beautifully. Greg.... That was the ManyBass amp models? Sounds Awesome!

As for the Jazz guitar sound, we will add to that style more in ManyGuitar 2 by featuring more samples of Jazz Guitars. But it is possible in ManyGuitar 1 already as Greg has shown above.

Yeah, that tone sounds good...the playing sounds amazing for a keyboard. Thanks Greg!

If ManyGuitar 2 has some nice patches that cover this sound it will be a pre-order purchase for me.

So, erm... can you nail the tone of Joe Pass? And share the settings?

Currently I am using a preset from Sampletank through Amplitube, but getting this sound out of ManyGuitar would make me happy!!!
If you can't beat your computer at chess, try kick-boxing.
