I just got this and have been producing music for 9 years and have heard a good few hardware units. I would take this unit over say the mpx100. But in the short demo I messed around and thought the low end was too metallic with long tails. I will have to further investigate to really give a proper review though.

Uding v-verb for a while i can only say that this is one of better (and very cheap) purchase i ever made. I dont care what name is on front side. This is cheap yet great sounding reverb.

For anyone who cares: I sorted it out. With the DirectWire drivers of my Wamirack i can even digitally connect the input from the reverb-return to a virtual ASIO-input so i can render my edit with the hardware-effects to a stereo wav-file. The other way to "render" my hardware-effects is to just record the reverb-return but i guess anyone knows thatMelodyMan wrote:I just use Tracktion3 with no external mixer. What in- and outputs do i need on my soundcard to use this unit? I have no experience at all with hardware units.

It was my first listen and was monitoring with stanton DJ headphones 2000j or something. Having now experimented a bit further I can say I have not noticed this phenomenon in either my sennheiser hd580s or genelecs. Because of its EZ interface, I can see that this will get more use than my roland rsp 550.
