Wow, so much going on here... definitely one for repeated listens. A fun audio treat, thanks. :)

How lovely! Thank you for flexing your melodic muscles for us! And wow, the atmostextures abound... very interesting, you've achieved denseness and space, maybe it's the tempo cut that's allowing this conjunction, I don't know, but this is an awesome track mate!

:o good thing

what I really like is the design of ýour covers. :P

Hi geek and poly,

Though I'm perfectly capable of making spaces and melodies it's definitely your influence that's convinced me to do so occasionally. I shudder to imagine what I'll make once my new kb player and I are fully off the ground in making live music and I need to make scary psychedellia to unwind. :)

No tempo cut, btw. It's a polyrythm trick. It's 80 bpm all the way through ;) Don't you just love experimenting? Humans would never pull that off for me!

Thanks b-pole. 3 random searches on Google got me them pics.

By the by I'm going to remix it soon as I'm working 49 hours in the next couple days so I just had to post what I had made as it's been too long since the last one. Ghoulish Foreplay I posted way back on June 12th!?

excellent flippin' piece...woozily loopy and yet authoritative...Disembodied vertiginous momentum doesn't get any better than this. Thanks!!

Full of surprises. You never know what you're going to get when you open one of your songs up, Runny. I think I enjoyed the overall texture the most. The reverb you have going through out this is tasty. Your computer sounds its most relaxed in this piece.
This is not your usual "audio disembowelment", but it still stays fringey.
nice and pleasant.

Post

intense.

despite the obvious abundance of control wielded by the composer, this has the feel for me of an (alien) field recording.

What a fantastic piece...I could really drift off to this one.

Reverb = Ambience preset patch, Jazzy, at least the verb on the PM horn thing. :)
Ambience is genius. ABout 15% wet.

"audio disembowelment" - - I like that 8)

Weird, I never for a second thought that ya'll would dig this one, but then I don't write to an audience and this is what that gets you. Glad you enjoyed.

I can totally see a person's body being turned inside out and then right side in again over and over while playing this on a Holophoner. Though a very active piece it is much mellower than some of your other tunes.

This is the kind of thing that I would love to colaborate with you on. Let me know if you are interested.

3am

Post

Absolutely. I tried to render it per-track but I was in a hurry to leave my keyboardist's cafe so I just posted it as-is.

:)

:)

runagate + 3am = very very much happy!

Hi Runagate
wicked melodic thing, here. I like it
This is like a short movie, with many different scenes. I can't think of it as a song in the classical sense of term
Excellent !

Cheers

vertiginous alien field recordings would be a good band name
much like Eco, though, I'd be worried about Borges' ownership of the adjecteval form of vertigo as far too much of a nod to my influences

I am almost semi-awake and partially coherent, surprisingly, and so looking forward to making more music :)

I remixed this song. Changed the link in the OP to reflect the new download url.
