i get your wonderfull cantus firmus on pdf, but
i dont get any midifile when i drop this scrypt on the lilypond icon. Did it work with u?

Yes, of course (I'm on Windows XP). Make sure the sscsgin.ly and sscsgout.ly are in the same folder as the .ly file you're trying to compile. Also make sure their content is exactly as I posted. BTW the MIDI file has a .midi, not .mid extension. If nothing works, can you PM me the contents of the .log file created during compilation? E.g. if your .ly file is called cf1.ly, then it should be cf1.log file, created on the desktop (if your lilypond icon is on the desktop).
