Hi,
I own a microkorg and I plan on using my guitar pedals with it to experiment on having different sounds. Is it dangerous to do so? What are the steps on hooking up/using my pedals with my korg. What port on the back of my microkorg should I plug them into? I have an audio 1 port and I have a mono and stereo ports on the back of it. my friend told me that I should plug my guitar pedals in through my amp as if I am using a guitar amp with a guitar. but I am still a newb with equipment.
I hope someone can help. I am still new to using my synthesizer. I purchased my korg in april/may. My conclusion, is it dangerous to do this?
thanks

No, it's not really dangerous for the synth. Simply take the Mono output and connect it to the input of your pedal(s). Then you can go either to your guitar amp, or to a mixer, or directly to the line inputs of your soundcard.
Just take it easy with the volume on your synth. Keep it halfway at most... That's just to prevent unwanted distortion.
