How's Studiophonik coming along?

The latest press release I've seen (March 28 ) said it would be available in Q2 2007. Not that I'm impatient or anything ( ), just wanted to see how things are progressing.

I've been looking at the new Fab Four VSTi from EastWest and I like what I've heard but it's very much geared towards the Beatles sound and I have a feeling that Studiophonik will be a lot more versatile. It also seems that Fab Four has been sampled with the effects while Studiophonik has on-board FX that can be added to taste which will add to the versatility.

I seem to remember that there was talk of including percussion, keys and even some horns in Studiophonik but the press release only mentions drums, bass and guitars. Have the other instruments been dropped?

Yes, we dropped those so it could concentrate on guitar, bass and drums. For other instruments we'll have other Sonik Instruments to cover them. In the "keys" area we have SampleMoog and SampleTron coming out for instance (and then there's Sonik Synth 2.1 as well).

Studiophonik and the other Sonik Instruments are getting to be in their final stages. Should be the next month or two for final release.

I like the word "other", brother.
One can never enough horns, strings and so forth. But with a decent amount of articulations that match each other soundwise, please.
