And I've been reading about the Prodyon Agonyx, which was the Superwave of its day, & also the link is dead. Anyone have that stored? It was donationware & I think Prodyon went to work for Vember Audio. Thanks!

Post

I'm not looking for a synth but for an effect that I used a lot back in the days. I think it's called Xcrunch.dll or Xcrush.dll, not sure. :( It didn't have a gui, it used the standard cubase template with only a few sliders.

Are most are all of these plugins now on Gersic?

Does anybody know which ones Gersic didn't add?

hey yo

i bought the Prodyon bundle like some months ago, and apologize me for spamming this thread again about that one , but even only EFex Pneumo was worth for me the 18 dollars tag for the whole bunch...check their site you can still buy even the other plug you were mentioning....er.....i think at least :)
EDIT forgot: not every plugin we talked about on this thread is on Gersic database site
why? simple : we need to haunt down the respective devs for asking the permission to host them since on the licence it wasnt stated "FREELY DISTRIBUTABLE" as on some of them..
so if EVERYONE of you has some old plugins he thinks that would be great to host, eventually contact the dev to ask the permission and then contact me: we will be able to host it somehow again :) ...
cmon! ;) some small work for the vst archeology community! :clown:
its been made already and brought back from oblivion some of the stuff you already experienced on this thread :D

Peace

Does anyone have the demo for native Instruments Dynamo? I would like to see if it will run on my machine in XP before trying to find one on eBay.

You can't get Agonyx from Prodyon any more, someone else took over the development of that synth ages and ages ago and announced a version 2 was on the way but as yet nothing has been released. I pretty sure that Dennis at Prodyon completely gave the rights for Agonyx to this other party so I don't think he can re-release it himself either. I'm trying to rack my brain to remember who it was that took it over... I can picture his webpage in my head but can't remember what he was called! :dog:

TBH I'm really not sure why there's so much of a fuss about Agonyx, it was a very simple Synthedit VST that anyone with a basic grasp of Synthedit could recreate easily! It doesn't feature anything I can think of that really makes it stand out from most decent SE Synths, particularly these days because SE has moved on considerably, there are many better freebie synths these days. ;)

Post

I just double checked with my copy of Agonyx and I can confirm it uses the standard SE oscillators, filters and other bits and pieces. In fact it's made almost entirely from standard modules (the only third party stuff is the UD-reverb and clock2 modules both of which are freely available), so it would be very easy to recreate. In fact many of the standard modules have been improved since Agonyx came out and there are better third party modules that are more effecient too... I would bet an emulation would be considerably more efficient than the original! :)

Now you just need to persuade someone they want to do it! ;)

Would it be wrong to ask for a link to that "discontinued" Korg krakli synth (even just a demo vers.)? If it is...well, I respect Ian's wishes.

There will be some news regarding the K700 synth before too long.
