How do I create this bass sound in Synth1?
It sounds like a saw and a square but I can't get it..

Have you tried a square with pwm (pulse width modulation)?

Still not quite it,but getting close i think.
I'm somehow unable to recreate it,i thought it'd be easier,guess i was wrong

love to help, but I can't get to a sample with the first link (404) and the second link provides a .fxp. For synth one, you have to provide a .sy1 file from the presets folders.

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean.
When I click the link I get a 403 error on an almost blank page.

Copy the link and,open windows media player,select open url in the file menu and then paste the link,press ok and it should play.
Or alternatively drag the link to winamp and it should start playing too.

ok, here are 10 bass presets that approximate it with synth 1.
there is some kind of phaser/chorus sound -maybe a light filter on top of it. Of course, compression of the track in the sound contributes to the sound as well.

I also made an attempt,i still believe pwm plays a part,but it could also be the chorus.
