Well, given the terrible and twee use of superficially perceived 'Australianisms' and the fact that the Kanga MySpace page lists the UK as home location, I'm willing to bet this aint no Aussie app. I say this with some degree of certainty as I live down under myself.

what's the SQL script thingy all about?

Post

G'day drongos

Good on ya for figuring me and joey are living with the poms in England right now, but we kinda got the idea for the Kangas Sound Editor when we were hoppin round the outback listening to the Abos playin their didgeridoos :!:

The SQL script is the thingy that is used to setup the database for the Kangas Sound Editor, it stores graphs, harmonics, anti-harmonics (inharmonics) and variations (that allow control of harmonics/anti-harmonics over time). These can be used later when creating the composition. The SQL script comes with some existing stuff (graphs etc.), so you don't have to create everything from scratch yourself.

No worries spacedad,

A detailed step-by-step procedure for installing is part of the release notes for the Kangas Sound Editor on SourceForge:

http://sourceforge.net/project/shownote ... _id=522426

At the end of the release notes, there is a link to the on-line tutorial, which will help you get started using the software.

Any more problems, let us know

We might be only roos, sport, but we reckon 'big crash' is two words not one!

Can you be more specific than 'big crash', ie what was the exact error(s)? What where you doin in the program when the 'big crash' occurred?
