Sorry if I missed it in the products page of the manytone web-site, but can you tell me whether Manyguitar comes with a 'MIDI player' element - in other words, does it play MIDI parts to simulate strumming, etc.... ?
.... or is it simply a sample player, where you'd need to program strumming sounds from scratch ?

We do have a batch of Midi Guitar files that we make available to customers. This includes a bunch of strums and pickings etc. You can load them in your host and edit them to create new parts. They will also be put in the FreeZone area of our site soon. Until then ManyGuitar customer can email me for them.
Also we have talked of adding a midi player/strummer in Version 2 of ManyGuitar so it is on the most requested features list
