Guys!!
I've got a lil problem at the moment with sampling.

Say i make a mixdown of a loop (a piece of music containing Audio and midi) that i export as a WAV file from Cubase sx,
into an external device (BOSS digital recording studio BR-1200) via USB, the tempo of the BR-1200, when set the same as Cubase sx, doesn't match the WAV file's tempo when played back in loop mode. Its alright but not spot on....
There's a latency of maybe x Milli sec, why is this happening

... because there's a tiny difference in the clocks and tempo calculations. Could be a rounding difference. Maybe Cubase says it's 123.4 bpm while in reality it's 123.4321 bpm, or the Boss unit actually uses 123.4321 bmp when it says it's at 123.4 bmp. Adjust the tempo by a fraction in either, see weather that helps.

Thanx for that man,i tried to adjust the boss device tempo
to match, its not 100% but heaps betta.

Do you have the same samplerate on both devices ?

The BOSS digital recording studio BR-1200 operates with 44.1 kHz files only, so i don't think its the issue because all the files from cubase sx were mixed down @ 44.1, but i hooked the db90 metronome to my computer through midi as a slave , and to my surprise the tempo of cubase sx was goin up and down troughout the all song. So now i know that the problem is from the computer, but i don't know if its cubase or my CPU that is playing up. Any one got a clue??????

Could also be that the tempo measurement of the db90 is very inaccurate while SX is steady as can be... Or both are inaccurate to some extend.
