btw, if you look closely above the studio monitos there are 2 black frames hosting a bunch of vsti pictures. what i did was downloaded some vsti images and printed them on my printer. i bought 2 frames at Target ($19.99 each) pasted the pics and hanged them. my friends love it everytime they visit my home studio. they think that was ingenious.
that is a cool idea! i was wondering what those were :)

can i ask which you've got framed up?
grymmjack,
these are the names of the vsti's i printed. they are 4x6 pictures. :)

2. Tera 5. Prophet V 8. FM8
3. MS-20 6. Sampletank 2 9. Dimension Pro

(right frame..top to bottom, l to r)
1. Nexus 4. Minimonsta 7. Blue
2. Jupiter V 5. Absynth 8. Spectra
3. Rature 6. Mono/Poly 9. Atmosphere

It IS a great idea--only people who are passionate about softsynths would do that. I have considered doing something similar, but include some pictures of hardware stuff I'd never be able to afford--just so I can at least look at a picture of it. :D

I can recognize a few--Atmosphere, Minimonsta, Sampletank, Tera, One of the Arturia ones--either Jupiter 8 or something else.
hi lunatique,
you are right on some of the vsti's i displayed. i was thinking of framing pictures of hardware synths but the vsti ones have sharper looks/images. not to mention they're easily available at each soft developer's site.

why dont you display/frame some of your personal work. i would if you ask me. you are one talented guy, lunatique!

Very cool idea, did the frames already have those smaller frames inside?

This is my most recent pic. The only thing that's different right now is a new mouse, so it's not like that matters. What's not in the pic is a Yamaha DTXtremeIIs drumkit and a big ol' Roland subwoofer.
LOL please dont tell me you have your speakers in foam packaging :o

thanks stale bread, I try to keep it a relaxing environment. I gotta spend a maddening amount of hours in there.

digitalmessiah wrote:here's my updated studio!! i had posted some pics long time ago but earlier this year (february) i decided to ENHANCE THE ROOM'S LOOK AS WELL AS CREATED SPACE AND FUNCTIONALITY. the room looks absolutely awesome without me spending hundreds of dollars. you just have to be creative
:tu: :hyper:

Very nice, digitalmessiah! A tidy place to work. Good job!

I did the same recently (thou it's not looking as good as your place ). Might be strange, but i now spend more time in my room composing (it was such a mess before :P)

I love my little bar, great for entertaining folks while they wait for me to finish the mix ("staring at the back of my head for hours" my friend Lisa says). gotta keep em comfy.

oh, and I forgot the blurry pic of one of my charms in the studio...Elmer the (blurry) 68 guild.
