Jackpot!
B-52's 1978 Downtown Cafe performances in Atlanta, GA (no less):
(check out the organist playing the organ on the left, tambourine on the right--yeay! OH, and This 'uns got COWBELL!)
These are all from my favorite period by them. Awesome.

Frederic Rzewski still leaning in the right direction after all these years.

Get it NOW! before it goes away again.
Made up of Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, and Johnny Winter Members. Stupid name but one of greatest bands ever.

That flip is almost 80s. This band was really way ahead of their time. It's hard to believe that, that's the guy that played the best known drum solo in rock history.o'malley wrote:The drummer really loves his hair in this onetomg wrote:

Nice finds. Never realized how much Iron Butterfly was in Tull till I heard this. 1969. Hmm, Tull was around then, so it's hard to tell who's doing the influencing.tomg wrote:More Rare

I spent about 7 years listening to nothing but the Cocteau Twins (and 1930s swing music).
Never saw videos for them before. Great song, crappy vid:
I saw them live several times. Liz's voice is just totally, totally amazing. She's a really tiny girl, too.
Photo montage set to another excellent song:
My wife, then girlfriend, introduced me to them in 1987. There music's forever linked in my mind with the blossoming of a life long love affair. Much better video:
A live recording...when I saw them on tours of the States they only had two guitarists and Liz. All the drums and synths were programmed. This isn't their greatest song, and Liz's vocals aren't as wild as I heard her live:
This is more what I remember of them live:
