2 bluepride.
I'm a developer of IL, and here it's not the official opinion. Just what I personally think.
Well... I understand your wish to support agru's memory. And you offer to send money. But... money for what? All Argu's products are commercial. They all are supported and developed currently. They don't need any donations.
If you want to make a contribution... well, make a dedicated website, or tell your friends about Argu, something, but not money. Why money? To make an Argu's statue? And why to Image-Line, actually when I saw your thread I thought you wanna send donations to Argu's family.
This thread is weird.

BTW I just bought Morphine (the Synth) - Toxic III is one of my favorites ever --- you keep up the good work!

Sure, but it's a pretty weird situation. Lots of us absolutely love the things that Arguru was doing, especially DirectWave. It's just not a good feeling to have someone who seems "superhuman" and was doing such great things wiped from the face of the earth so suddenly.Maxx Claster wrote:2 bluepride.

It's quite jarring, really, and has made me kind of sad. Maybe this isn't the "right way to react", but what is??? I would like to do something to help ensure that Arguru's goals can eventually be realized, that is all.

A real contribution in memory of ALL of the folks who have recently passed away (including Bob Moog) would be to find underprivileged kids in your area who want to learn about computer-based music and teach 'em everything you can.
In the U.S. we have a non-profit called "Big Brothers", but that's for boys only. TEACH GIRLS TOO.
Beg or borrow all the equipment and software you can, get a secure classroom/lab set up and start 'em off with sampling and sequencing classes once or twice a week.
They ARE NOT gonna learn this stuff in school.
As soon as I'm in a community that would appreciate such a thing it's what I'm gonna do. (The city I live in is Hell on 4 wheels.)
