not that you guys don't work hard enough, but any future plan for a standalone?
this instrument is so playable it would be nice to just fire it up and jam.
...just out of curiosity, how much work is involved in porting a plug to standalone?
thanks...very cool product.

Must take time for a deep breath and some summer enjoyment while it's here
If you only knew what I have been through the last months working on the PC and Mac versions.... as well as Greg and Aldo.
Time for us to get through the release of ManyBass and enjoy a moment or two as we already have big big plans for next.
But there is a way to do that already via a standalone host that lets you rename its exe (or something like that) and fire up a VST as standalone.

PC only I believe?
More info in this thread also as I recalled this was asked there in the Wusik Forum.

So maybe better we put our time into major improvements in ManyBass like ......
Ohhhh ...I'm not allowed to tell you yet....
But it is AWESOME!!!!

a. Take your time and RELAX! I'd like a standalone too, but it certainly isn't critical (not the downplay the OP)
b. Yes, one HUGE WHOMPING problem with mac is there is no "standalone host". Plasqe (spelling?) used to have one, but they abandoned it (
)(how do you REALLY think I feel about it
)
c. It's still a good idea for the future, something where you can independantly "work" the keyboard and all that........

ohhhhh an update on this.
I guess Aldo our coder saw this thread already and emailed me that a Standalone is in the works...
For ManyBass ManyGuitar and ManyOne.
With the other cool ManyBass surprise that we have already working here (the one I can't tell you about yet) ....well good news all round then.
But ...no pressure on us ....I am already overworking Aldo this last few weeks
