thanx,
BTW if you make tracks that rock with it, please send me a copy...
I know that i'm not reinventing the wheel with a delay, but this one can be very creative when pushed too its limits, it was a major point for me when coding. Note that the saturation is *really* soft but very usefull if you have high feedback to make it sound smoother.
cheers

well some problems here, too but first of all - I love the guy *ähm* gui
and the sound is neat
but it only works inside of tracktion when I call it up the first time ater that it shows an error

It does sound nice, that's for sure. It gave me a boner. I still have it! Boing.
I'm having similar problems to others though (with the delay, not the boner) - It works in Chainer, but if I close the GUI window and then try to reopen it everything freezes and I have to shut down Chainer.

mdsp, thank you for your work, take it from a delay freak it´s very good, will use this as much as possible. Good sound character, I like that it not starts screaching to early like my Line 6 for example. But like ttoz I also had serious problems within Logic. When closing Logic but with the Plug still in insert XP says Logic encountered a problem and must be closed. Also I had the case that a little message box appeared I never ever saw, sorry dunno what it said, made no sense to me (was three words), I´ll post the message here when I see it again. Also exchanging just the audio file in the audio track again with analog delay still in insert crashes Logic, haven´t try but think what ttoz happended will do here also, will try. Setting to sync and changing the note values not always had an affect, I had to move the right rotary button manually to give the result, like it was not following the sync command (am I right this should work on the fly). This for now.
Suggestions: I would rework the look of buttons, especially above @12 o´clock position, where we have now white on white colour when setting to that position, not good reading.
Adding of adjustable High Pass button.
Up/Down movement I prefer against moving the mouse @button.
Adjustable Auto panning/Sync ?

Hi guys,
for those having close/reopen GUI problems...just be sure to have only the last version of AnalogDelay.dll in your VST directory...cause the host software can get in trouble managing similar .dlls...maybe they have the same vst id?.
Anyway for me works ok on Logic/Tracktin/Bidule....even changing the audiotracks on the fly....

hi,
thanx for all the suggestions.
I've moved all my html pages to php yesterday evening but now everything should be fine.
I only have bidule and cubase to test with but I had no problems with multiple instances and closing reopening the GUI multiple times. however it had been reported by some beta testers that problems can arise on logic depending on your setup.
about the sync: be sure that your host gives good tempo info. the default value if the host can't send tempo info is 120bpm but I have noticed that bidule (on OSX only) reported false values (above 200bpm) when no sequencer device is loaded. And I'm sorry to admit that some times you have to manually move the knobs to update the delay display.
about adding new features: I've reworked the code and the GUI many times these last 2 months (tempo sync, saturation...) and I'd like to freeze it there for now, I have many other plugins (too much?) in devt and i'd like to have time for them. Anyway for the next release I'll think about autopan, highpass, new knobs, spring reverb...
finally: someone reported a denormal problem with Analog Delay, in fact I had coded something against that but I forgot to do this on BOTH channels, the new version is on my site.
cheers

hey remy!
try downloading traktion
the creator of traktion (Julian, iirc) will give you a serial if you ask him for one...
if the delay crashes in traktion, you could just send your source code to Julian. That's what I did w/ supatrigga, and within 1 day the problem was fixed!!
cheers,
- bram (back 2 da books)

Analog Delay is causing problems including crashes for me in Logic Platinum 5.5.1 on WinXP SP1.
It loads and works OK initially but switch away to another screeen and come back and the plugin GUI screen fails to redraw and Logic is left hanging. The hourglass shows that the system is working and Logic becomes unresponsive and usually crashes or "Poof"s.
Regards,
Eg
