From manual:
NOTE: SoFtDrum is setup for mono samples/soundfonts it will play a stereo sample\soundfonts but it will be played as mono. Use the pan control to possition the drum
-------------------------------------------
Why mono??? Please consider to add mono/stereo switch per pad, all great free acoustic drum samples are stereo.

Question:
SF2 with 24-bit samples (SoundFont 2.4 version), is it supported?
Information:
Kingston Easyrider, GSCW drums, yPPses drums (great free acoustic drums) are all 24 bit stereo wav samples

I did one attempt. I created one SF2 file with stereo sample 24 bit and then I loaded it into SoFtDrum without any problem. Problem is that the native SF player of SynthEdit don't supports stereo samples. I hope that Jeff can do the support to stereo samples in future releases of SE.sikahr wrote:Question:

Thanks for reply ArtVera.
There is "workable" but ugly solution:
Create two soundfonts, one with left, and one with right samples.
Load each soundfont in different pad, pan one left, one right.
Trigger both pad with same note.
But it is ugly.
My opinion is that all this can be done automatically in SoftDrum when stereo sample is detected, there is no need for native stereo synthedit SF2 player, only two instances of mono paned left&right.

I tried this out last night, the included samples are pretty good. It would be nice to have more.
