Fixing my Phatboy 2

Anyone know how I can get my Phatboy fixed? The knobs are not loose but when I turn them to control a software knob or slider the action is jittery, not smooth like it used to be, which makes it hard to be accurate. I haven't been able to find a decent replacement for it - its just the right size for me and not too many knobs and everything recognises it - no room for a bigger controller and no money for one either.
(I had hoped my NI KORE would replace it but NI let me down there).

You could take it to a local electronics repair place, and see if they can replace the pots.

It seems to be affecting all the pots the same though so I suspect it's not them as such but maybe something more fundamental. I haven't been able to find anything on "known problems" for this device though.

Bah! Maybe I should just dump it. Anyone got a good alternative? - needs to be the same width as I have limited desktop space (though could be squarer) and at least 8 knobs - don't need loads as I use it more for fast performance tweaks to synths while playing rather than full host automation or mixing.

Looks a bit expensive but maybe I'll try eBay.
