Pffft...let's see. Off the top of my head, how about using someone's laptop to record a live gig or rehearsal? How about using a spare computer at a pro studio or friends house? It's MUCH easier to copy 2 small folders to a hard drive than do an install and setup of most software, and it's non-invasive of their registry (one registry entry?
