Kontakt 2 in Logic 7

In order to use Kontakt2 as a multi (midi) channel plugin, do I have to create a midi instrument?

no. use the next audio instrument object, and in the parameters box change it to AudioInstrument 1 (assuming that's where Kontakt is plugged in) and change the MIDI channel to 2. Repeat for more MIDI channels. Don't forget to change the first one to MIDI channel 1.

Thanks for the advice. The problem was I needed to change the Kontakt Instrument to midi cha "all". Now it works fine!
