I haven't tried it (I use a 1212M with Emulator X) but there's no reason it shouldn't work.
All you have to do is make sure you've got an E-MU 2x2 USB MIDI interface or XBoard plugged in while you use it. Alternatively, you could leave the DAS installed and use that...

Okay, I understand what you're asking now - just know that some people have had issues, and some haven't. In general it SHOULD work. It helps if you make sure there aren't any IRQ conflicts.

I've had a Pulsar II and a Soundblaster Audigy in my computer for years and never had any conflicts or anything. Works just fine for me whatever that's worth.

cool...i just ordered the M Audio Delta 44 and the guy at Musicians Fried was basically laughing at me (quiet jup 8!)...he claims that you can somehow use the new audio docks with the old 1010 cards if you remove the firewire connector, but i couldn't find any info...i figure i can test the Delta 44 (i got 45 days to return it), if it sucks i'll figure something else out...djsubject wrote:i have a RME, E-MU1820m & a Satellite (Mackie ONYX)

Yes, it works--I've used it very breifly with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 26.
In theory all you need connect is their usb midi interface, which acts like a dongle (that does something).
I'm sure there are gotchas out there though...
