Rhino Praise and Question

WOW! I just purchased Rhino and after a few minutes of play felt like giving praise for such a wonderful instrument. It is really a unique monster.Just a quick question however. Is there a "blank" bank available for Rhino? A bank with all locations empty or initialized would be great as a starting point for original patch collections.I wish all vsti's came with a blank bank and "init" patch. It would make things alot easier to start programming patches to share with others which is what I'm going to start doing in about two minutes..............

I've made one !
Well, not totally blank, some envelopes here and there but the plot is to import then write, copy, paste : a little tedious !
I'd like a drag and drop operation that keeps the original unchanged but transfers all the new changes to the new " slot "
Did I say, I hate clicking !
Well Teksonik, I can mail it ( 1 MB )
Strange it's fatter than stuffed banks ...

Teksonic,
I don't have a blank bank (although I can make one easily if required), but I found the right-click "clear" option enough to reset a preset to a default one.
Cheers,
'Tick

Thanks Preset and Big Tick, that right click tip did the trick.I've got a bank of all Default patches now,a nice clean slate with which to work. Now I just have to roll up my sleeves and learn this synth.I may actually have to read the manual on this one(ouch my head).
On a related note I really must compliment Daniel Maurer and Big Tick on their programming skills.I think their work stands shoulder to shoulder with such world class sound designers as Scot Solida and Rob Papen.Do either of you have patches for other synths? I would be really interested in hearing them.Well, back to work a labor of love to be sure.

Thanks Tek. The only synth I've done some semi-serious work with is the amazing Z3ta. If time permits (how many time did I say that) I'll make a bank and send it to René.
Daniel is indeed an amazing sound designer - and you haven't heard everything he's done with Rhino yet

Woo Hoo this is great fun! On my first patch I managed to lock up my system and create a sound not unlike two locomotives crashing together at top speed.Scared the hell out of the cat-she's stuck to the ceiling of the studio with all four claws(entirely my fault, none of the Rhino factory patches even get my system breathing hard.I really should read the manual). I haven't had this much fun since I got my first analog monosynth back in the early 80's and discovered that turning the filter cutoff and resonance all the way up will shatter glass and cause ears to bleed.Yee hee back to the mayhem and destruction!
PS I can't wait to hear what you and Daniel have in store for Rhino next.
