So the question. Why cutoff and reso almost doesnt work? You can try HP,LP And Bp turn on,after that adjust cutoff and reso knobs, but you never hear big changes, like in another synths. Or i do something wrong?

Those filters are for the noise samples you can use to supplement the 4 generators in the Morph/Mix section, they don't influence sound of the 4 generators themselves.
For example, set the Noise to "Applause" in the drop down list. Set the "Mix" knob to maximum. Select LP filter and turn the "Cutoff" up and down. You should hear it affecting the noise section quite audibly.

Morphine is an addictive synth. The cutoff and reso are parts of the subtractive synthesis.

Addictive additive. Its true!:) But anyway, what ill do to change the sound in this way? Is there any faders or knobs similar with cutoff and reso(not with noise) Or equalizer its the only way?

If you want to filter its sound, you can put a filter after it.

The fastest way to adjust a sound is to modify "window" columns. You'll clearly hear how sound changes then... try to tweak rate knobs, also setting PWM filter rate to zero and disabling "free" button there gives you comb filtering which makes sound changed significally.Igr0 wrote:Addictive additive. Its true!:) But anyway, what ill do to change the sound in this way? For subtractive style of editing, try such trick:
- Import a saw to the partial editor (import waveshape from menu, or drag-drop a waveshape to there - I mean not a sample but just one small "saw" wave clip). Or simply draw it by hand.
- In spectrum menu, click "copy"
- In another generator, say, "B", paste it.
- Choose "Flt 2" tool in the tool menu, and make higher frequencies comlumns in generator B smaller with that tool.
- On morph/mix page, create else one point.
- Morph it in different ways...
You'll get a saw which changes spetcra like you'd have in a subtractive synth with a filter.
However, working with additive I'd recommend you to forget about filters. It's additive, not subtractive... absolutely another approach to sounddesigning it is.
Else one trick: try to resynthesise a noise sample. Just white noise... you'll hear pretty harsh sound first, but if you adjust window, and cut/change few breakpoints you may get interesting sounds. I did some of presets this way in the factory lib.
