So I fired up Renoise 1.8 demo and tried to load XT2VSTi to have some fun and see how it would work.

The first thing I did in Renoise was to check "enable keyboard" to have full power... So, Yes it is CHECKED!

That however didn't fix much, since sadly, the keyboard support in the xt2 browser doesn't work at all i.e. no browsing using arrow keys...

Then I created a "new sequencer" and noticed that keys like delete, undo and all other keys in the docked sequencer didn't work. Uh-oh.. instant workflow killer!

BUT If I double-clicked on the created midi-part so the popup editor opened I could use the keys like normal (inside the midi editor that is.. wheehe! :D 8) ) But the browser still didn't work! :x

Strangely I could get the browser and the sequencer to work like normal with the keyboard if I docked the popup-midi editor to a new page. But it would only work until I clicked on the Renoise UI. (then I had to delete the docked page, open the popup editor again, and re-dock the opened window)

Can this bug be fixed... ?

larm-

I see what you mean. In Buzz I wousonly able to use the keys after I added a sequencer. But after a sequencer was present it worked fine.
I can use keys to navigate the browser inside Buzz just fine.

I think the keys should only work when the XT2 GUI is active. That's expected and intended.

VST Inconsistant
JL10- qwerty only works in the XT2 vst once a sequencer is added.

seems like every time you dock or undock something, it changes what can respond to the keyboard. switching from the VST to the host window and back changes things too.
