Feel free to comment.

I am working on my first song using the upright bass samples. It should be finished soon if anyone is interested.

Sounds really good! Great guitar playing, too.

Hi BosseJo
I had a quick listen on the old system here and it sounds very JazzCool. (A nice jazz lounge guitar sound, in a good way, on first listen)
I will have a closer listen tomorrow on the studio monitors. As Greg said, great guitar playing.... tell us more about what you used for it. And yes we want to hear your Upright track.

I'll post back after I crank this one tomorrow in the studio.

Thanks for posting this btw.

Many, many thanks. :)

I really would appreciate input on how to improve the mix/master. My song (Tap) is the first one that I feel is good enough to "go public" with but I think I have so much to learn.

Ok, the long list...

Tracktion 2

Guitar: Ibanez Talman -> Digitech Rp14d (with fender twin amp sim, no other effects other than my fingers and my ears
VST: Voxengo Crunchessor and Gliss EQ, Ohmboyz delay

Piano: Roland PC180A midi keyboard -> Eastwest Boesendorfer 290
VST: Gliss EQ

Bass: Wusikstation 3 and Manytone Ultimate Bass Kit samples ("fingered")
VST: Crunchessor and Gliss EQ

Drums: Jamstix
VST: Mackie three band compressor and Gliss EQ

There's also a bell like synthsound at a few places made with Wusik and some windchimes (some sample).

Mastering: Wizooverb, Mackie Final mix, Voxengo Curve EQ and Voxengo Elephant.

I think that's it.

I'd love to hear this masterpiece but the link doesn't work. :(

Now it works. I changed the title from "tap" to "Tap" and that was apparently enough to break the link:(
Thanks for letting me know.

The rhythm section sounds a little like the Thomas Blug tune "Clubbing". Again, great playing!

Thanks everyone.

I've have to check out Thomas Blug then :)

That song is on YouTube... he's a great guitarist!I think he won Strat player of 2004 at Fender's 50th anniversary or something.
