Hi sample lovers,

I got two files for you at http://members.home.nl/mistermouse/fieldrec.htm

The story behind it:
Yesterday I was browsing my harddisk and discovered a few samples I made in 2003. Back in those days I was experimenting and one of those experiments was taping some small mics to the outside and the inside of a car, to drive and record it.
The outside mics only recorded wind noise (due to the speed of the car while me driving it).

I think the mono recording comes from under the hood, but as I have no notes of this recording, I can only guess...

The stereo recording is most likely made inside the car, an Opel Corsa, with OKM mics I believe. But again, I have no notes of it, so it could be different mics.

I hope you enjoy this short sounds, I rate them good and clear.

Variation 1, the mono recording, is a short fragment of a starting car engine. The engine dies shortly after the start.

Variation 2, the stereo recording, is also a short fragment of a starting car engine. You can hear me drive away gently.

I also have a mobile phone recording of me driving, but that one will probably stay on my hard disk ...
I'm too afraid my parents found out about it, cos it was my mums car

I hope you enjoy listening to those samples as much as I did recording them.
Feel free to use them in songs, movies, ringtones or whatever... But: share freely, do not sell!

Thank you!

No one is telling my mum, so maybe I can loan the car someday again :)

I've uploaded some church bells: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 42#2670342, enjoy the sample pack in that post as well!
