my latest creation...

Raptor is designed to work as a two osc style synth using waveplayers to play single cycle waveform samples. I have included a folder full of samples to use, but you can load any you choose youself.

It has two waveplayers/osc, each with its own filter and amp envs, as well as pan, vol and tune, 4 LFO's (2 for each OSC) and a MOD section. No effects onboard!

The GUI is of course 'functional' ;)

download from these awful sites until it is up at one of the good ones in my sig ;)

I am bizarrely amazed that nobody else has commented! Sounds like a fairly good synth, I've had fairly little time to experiment with it. Probably some real potential hiding under there.

I wonder whether anybody else has noticed, but many of the patches are out of tune. For "FM1" I had to tune the wave section up by 9 semitones to get it to correctly play a C5.

i really need to tune most of those samples, some need to go up several oct to be usefull, but i wasnt too concerned cos most people like to use their own samples anyway...if i have time i'l do them all.

thanks for the comments

Agree with Spirulence over the lack of comment on this genuinely useful VST.

One of the best synths I've come across in a long while.
I'm having great fun building my own sample bank.

Thanks Mr K.

This synth has great possibilities - it is already useful to me. Thank you so much Kriminal - great job. Is there a reason that your waves are all mono? I know that there are two distinct synths that can be panned R/L, but stereo adds some possibilities. GUI is laid out perfectly. Again, thank you ever so much.

mono for size reasons, and most were originally mono (got a lot from free sources on net over the years)

i was gonna use the virus ones that are floating around, but to be honest, they didnt sound too good, so i included a few and thought it best to leave up to individual to make his own sounds

thanks again for the comments, nice to get some feedback on these things ;)
