List updated. I didn't have as much time as I'd like, so there are some lazy *'s I skipped that are most likely still there.

i'll test the asterisks later, but first, you have some stuff marked as fixed that isn't fixed:

JL10- Ctrl+scroll wheel to scroll keyboard will cause notes that are added to be placed on wrong notes. [expecting to see vertical zoom]

not fixed

JL10- Dragging play loop will scroll seqeuencer tracks up.

not fixed (it doesn't happen if the view is empty)

J15- the Audio Part inline Editor Vol/Pan/Mute lanes and the MIDI Part MIDI Envelopes do not show the handles between events if the events are visually close together (<16 pixels?).

this hasn't changed, but it's probably intentional and not a bug

JL10- Resizing a ghost drum part from the left causes notes to be entered in the wrong place horizontally.

not fixed

J15- Alt+right click to slice audio only works on a non-edit mode audio track, not in the pop-up editor or an in-line edit track, and not on samples.

the behavior here is still the same. you can't split parts in the popup editor, probably because it can only show one part at a time. you could always split them using the headers in the inline editor. the main issue i have is that you can't split slices that have already been glued.

Thanks Insert! I thought it was strange that some of those were fixed without notice but I couldn't get the nasty behavior.
I'll take a look during some breaks at work and fix my mistakes.

i finished testing what i could, so here's some more stuff to update...

Fixed in 2.0.2 (August 11th):

AG10- Mapper not sending signals to components since August 10.
AG10- Automation from track to instruments is broken since August 10th.

Not fixed in 2.0.2:

JL10- Volume automation is a ms or two late at begingin of clips. Creates click.
J15- Frozen track in a group get out of sync here's what i found:
1. make two tracks routed to different Synthesizer comps, put SIR as an insert on one, and freeze the other one. the frozen one plays early.
2. routing one of them to a group also causes them to be out of sync even when they're not frozen. saving and reloading the project gets them back in sync.
3. routing both synths to the group causes them to be out of sync, but it's not fixed by reloading the project. freezing the track with SIR inserted puts them in sync.
J1- On some machines, the browser doesn't display folders in A>Z order [specifically on non-NTFS formatted partitions (in Windows)]
J15- In LINUX, along with non ext3 filesystems, "ntfs" file systems mounted as "read/write" dont work either.
J15- XT sometimes crashes on some systems if the VST is missing or broken (if XT can't find a VST when you open a project, and then you save it, the project will be corrupted. but i'm not sure if that's what this is referring to.)
J29- In the event list, the "h" of Aftertouch overlaps the note number.
J8- 8 bit samples will not play but can be dragged to drum samplers.
J15- On Linux samples are shown in track and drum sampler with full path (in synthesizer too).
J1- sometimes when you load a .fxb file the preset name is not listed in the VST GUI (until you refresh its display)
J8- XT2 VST will not use the setup global -> "start with"
JL10- XT2 VST will not remember the setup looks
JL10- qwerty only works in the XT2 vst once a sequencer is added.

Not tested by me:

*J15- Problematic VSTs in XT2
*J1- Graphics issue (performance related)
*J15- Kubuntu issues
*J15- Recording from an "audio in" does not compensate for driver latencies. The sound in the recorded sample will be behind the beat by the amount of latency on the sound card's input. (i'll test this one later)
*J8- Only the first 16 midi inputs work. Inputs > 16 will be shown and can be active but will not work.

This is more than a little frightening. Why would a user-level program even "know" about the underlying fs?

Do I need to be testing ext2 on my XFS on LVM on RAID?

Yes, chalk this one up to the issue with single sample parts vs. multi sample parts.

before i forget, here's some more...

new in 2.02:

- Recording Volume/Pan/Mute envelopes to an audio track by dragging the value box can cause a crash.
- Scrolling the in-track piano roll by dragging a selection doesn't update the keyboard display.
- (Related to above) Scrolling the in-track piano roll up or down by dragging notes off the page doesn't move the notes.
- Classic Arp presets (.xta) in the root Presets folder don't show up in the Presets section of the browser.
- Triplet button in Classic Arp doesn't change color to show its state in the Dark look.
- For Shuffle in the object bar, the 6 of "16" is cut off.

older, but i can't find it on the list:

- Envelope points recorded from the value box always snap to a 16th note grid.

and this one can be explained further:

J8- Recording VST parameters (via track header) will only record to one part.

- It only records into the part that the play cursor is on at the time you press record.

I don't know if it's been mentoned or not but EXT2 still does'nt load properly in Sonar 6 and has graphical issues.

The struct member VstTimeInfo::barStartPos in a vst is always 0 with energyXT2.02

It is declared like this in VstTimeInfo from aeffectx.h in VSTSDK2.4:
double barStartPos; ///< last Bar Start Position, in Quarter Note

JL10- Cannot copy and paste note/sample data inside parts or across parts (can only copy/paste whole parts!)
