I will be recording a group of 20 singers along with trio's, duets and soloists.

I am looking to rent or buy some condensor mic's that can double duty for recording piano and overheads for my drum kit.

Currently, I will run them into my Motu 8pre but will be looking for a two channel tube pre for vocal duty.

I've seen some mic reviews that suggest they are good for a variety of uses but want something to capture 20 female voices performing "sound of music" type performances.

Any suggestions? $300 bucks a mic is my budget.
