Much much thunder, louder now. Power is intermittent (but the computer and network are on battery backups).

Still thunder, all around. Been one storm after another for hours, most of them with frequent severe lightning and lots of rain. We still have electricity but about 50,000 power customers in the area aren't so lucky.

Also a local TV sportscaster, who is annoying to hear.
