Hi there, I was wondering if someone could tell me if manybass has got sampled pull ons / offs, or if its easy to recreate them with the right use of manybass. Also if there is the ability to slide a tone or semitone (some sample sets trigger a tone slide from below the note at full velocity presses).
Thankyou!
Slides / pull on / offs?

Although they aren't explicitly sampled, they're pretty easy to sequence. Actually (and this is good to note) the tapped soundsets are great ways to mimic the tonal change of a hammer-on/pull off.
Tapping is where you fret a note loud enough that it sounds (generally you have to hit the fret with your fretting finger relatively hard to get decent volume), allowing you to play with one hand (like the one-armed bassist, Bill Clements does) or free your right hand to "tap" also, allowing the electric bass to play fast passages, large chords, and... my favorite: chapman stick-like patterns.
So technically there isn't much difference between a "tap" and a hammer-on.
I can send you a MIDI file of how to sequence these articulations--slides, etc. It's pretty much all material that is going to go in tutorials on ManyBass.com.
The 'extras' soundset for the smooth bass soundset is the one that has some very specific articulations, a whole-step slide (on full velocity, as you note), a short funk trill, etc.
