TBK3 ROCKS!

I've used CamelPahet free for squashing drums. When used in parellel and brought up so you can just hear it, the effect is great. The TBK3 can do similar things, but you have to make sure to set the attack to instant. The only problem there, at least for me, is when you really push it with an instant attack, you get some weird flutter to the sound. Backing it off a bit seems to clean it up. I'm not sure what's going on there. I'll have to do some more tests.

Yes I know, and the offer really is quite generous but it's still an extra 100$ which I can not justify at the moment. However, I will eventually buy it.

More toys will come, in time young apprentice.

Good to hear. Btw, you never replied to the emails I sent about "ideas" and such. Also, try blackmailing Dave to update his blog a bit. We need more information about the new toys! More more! Faster faster! :hihi:

Cheers!

i still have mailed sonalksis support, but do they accept paypal?
i couldnt choose it from their user ordering page...

I like it especially on drums.
Personally, I can get the best of it with parallel compression (which can often be the case with extreme compression). So, a dry/wet button is mandatory, cos with send you don't have the same control and you can have phase (time) problems...

Hi Gunnar,

If you still have not got your answer (though you probably have), we do accept paypal, but you will have to contact support and get the transaction initated manually from us.

;)

Thanks!

dry/wet control me guess

Indeed, we spoke about it, about 100 pages ago ;)

Someone even photoshopped a gui for a suggestion on placement. At the time you said you'd think about it, just wondered if there was any progress?

Thanx

Yup, we save every input we get for future brainstorming, but at this point, there's no updates in that direction for any of our plug-ins.

Ok, thanks for the response, just out of interest, how many man hours do you think it would take? I don't imagine it would take that long compared to replacing the compressor algorhythms. Please make me aware of any ignorance on my part ;) Coz I know nothing about these matters! :)
