I am only going to record vocals and Monitor through the interface but, I would like to have high quality outputs for monitoring. Are there Any Good small interfaces like that?

+1 for Metric Halo ULN-2 if you're a Mac user (no drivers for Windows, but you seem to be running Logic 7 so you probably have OSX) and can afford it. Two boutique quality (read: extremely good) microphone preamps that are worth the asking price alone, AD/DA converters that don't get ashamed alongside the likes of Apogee and Benchmark and very good drivers + control panel software for OSX.

Yes I'm using a Mac. So what differences would I hear if lets say, I was using a presonus firebox versus a metric halo uln2 or rme fireface or something?
Would I hear it in the recording or the monitoring or would it be hard to notice at all? I dont have a huge budget but I like to get something of good quality. Thanks for the help!

It depends on your ears, monitors and the room you're mixing & recording at. If you're just doing stuff for fun with home hi-fi it's probably an overkill to get something like the ULN-2 or Fireface, but if you're a working pro or a serious hobbyist with good pair of ears, it might be a very good purchase. Thing is, "good quality" is a really really relative thing - and you're the one who can judge what's good enough for your use / your ears. I mean, if I say "I can hear a clear difference between X and Y", it doesn't mean you would neccessarily notice it or care about it.

The main thing with ULN-2 is that aside killer AD/DA (which is probably even better than in Fireface, which is no slouch either), you have two extremely good transparent, low noise microphone preamps that would probably be worth the asking price already - so you could plug pretty much any mic straight to it, start recording and be sure that the weakest link in your chain definitely isn't the interface or the mic preamplifier. It sort of an one stop box, if you don't need lots of channels for recording and monitoring, it has everything you'll need in pretty high quality. But then again, it might be overkill and again, whether there's a difference to something like the Firebox in your use is up to you.

If you have a chance, try to find out a place where you could borrow or test some of the interfaces (or some place where you can return the interface if you don't like it). You are basically the only person in the world who can say whether you hear a difference or not :) It might be that you listen to lots of stuff, figure out that a Firebox is as good for you as an ULN-2 (or at least good enough) and get a Firebox, or you might notice a very clear difference and get an ULN-2. No use wasting money if you don't hear a difference, in my opinion.

Thanks for that z15, Im trying to make some professional stuff, Music is basically what is running through my mind daily more than anything else. So I suppose I will try to find a place that will let me return stuff if I dont like it.

I'm using event studio precision monitors I could hear a huge difference with those over my previous begginer roland DS 90as, So I feel I have pretty good ears of course I am still developing god ears but I think if there was a difference in sound quality I would hear it. I can hear differences from changing to 44.1 to 96 and I can hear a difference between 96 and 192 It kind of like a clearer high and lows or more of them the more sampling you do if you ask me. So I think if there is a difference in sound quality I could hear it. To bad I live all the way in alaska where nobody wants to ship Gear and where the music stores only carry cheap crap> Thanks again
