you're arguing with the wrong guykoolkeys wrote:Ok, Einstein. Go ahead and "enlighten" me as to exactly why he deserved being jumped on or criticized for his use of language?
And you have just proven my point. Who are YOU to say that he meant what you are saying he meant? I mean, we just have what he wrote, right? And it seems to me the MORE LOGICAL way of interpreting it is what I said. But I'm just dying to hear how somebody actually thought that he was complaining about the host changing colors and themes on him.
I'll take a seat so you can entertain me ya'll. Sorry to be brash, but it's just annoying.

No, LM and I's posts intersected. It was to the post above his. I didn't fix it because I was sure that he knew that.
But yeah, it wasn't to him.

yes, it would be madness to talk to someone who actually makes sense. It would only make you look like a complete idiot.. now you're just an idiot and you can easily blend into the background with the rest of the noise without looking to silly.Untamed Spirit wrote:I'm not responding koolkeys, you're a fish in a barrel. anyway..
I think Reaper's GUI is a bit *rough around the edges* (to put it nicely) but I haven't seen many inconsistencies, or at least nothing of which you think that's a really bad place to put things or that doesn't make sense.

my points were its nice that he likes those, thats fortunate, because thats the only ones they give you.
and i did grant the assumption that his opionion is better than his spelling and his grammar, but i take issue with the opinion that offering more options to the user is a baaaaad thing.
and how cynical do you have to be to be slammin reaper at this stage of the game? wow youre a lot of fun!

Well, he didn't say that offering more options was a bad thing. He said that he liked another interface better. NOWHERE did he say what you are saying he did. I don't see where anyone said that, as a matter of fact.
Anc cynical? Whatever. I didn't slam Reaper. And if I want to, I will. I'm ALLOWED to. Anyone who thinks that somebody is wrong for slamming Reaper is a fanboy in every sense of the word. So I hope you are saying that statement with some sillyness. Otherwise, where does anyone get the idea that I shouldn't be slamming Reaper?

I find the lot of you irritating.
Back to Reaper, one thing I find odd on the GUI are the meters on each track. They are by default hidden, so you have to drag the outline of the track down to see the meter. Kind of a pain in the ass if you want to be able to see meters by default on every track. And then it looks a little sloppy to manually drag each track since they ended being all different sizes as a result.
Be nice if there was a simple 'view all track gubbins' button on each track to see the meters. Strikes me Sonar does it that way.

The zoom button on the right scrollbar does exactly that (sizing all tracks at once that is), then once they're sized exactly like you want them, got to the project settings and click on "save as default".
No, that wasn't me.
