Heres my first attempt at a Manybass demo! I really enjoyed working with this bass VSTi!

- There are three layers of Manybass at play during the 'softer' sections.
- Acoustic Guitar for singing melody
- Acoustic Guitar through amp sim for rhythm guitar
- BFD (electronic kit) just started teaching myself drums a couple of months ago so its not amazing but I think it works!
It was so easy to use the slides, fret noises, hitting, and more importantly they were easy to fit into a mix / melody. I don't usually bother with those embellishments but Manybass sounds good enough and makes it easy enough to play around with.
The higher end of the bass samples are really beautiful, they just sing and other bass sample libraries have not invited me to using the higher end like this one has.
In my early experience, it seems this VSTi needs alot of control in the way of eq and compression. The included eq / compression is useful for quickly shaping the sound, but I dont think its so useful for controlling bass frequencies etc. That said, alot of real bass recordings have that same issue, so its nothing new!
The interface is fully featured but not overwhelming because of its clearly separated sections.
This VSTi has made me feel more confident about putting together 'mock' band demos for singers, which means ALOT to me (I dont own a bass guitar yet). So thanks Manytone!! Even if I owned a bass guitar, Manybass is still very useful for dialling up a sound quickly without having to set up amps and mics. I'm tempted to try your Manyguitar for that same reason, but we will have to wait for my wallet to agree!

nice. i particularly like the bass slides.
one minor suggestion (unrelated to the bass): I wonder if the drums could work better with a little less ambiance? - at the moment they sound neither quite fully "room" nor entirely "dry".

Yeah - iain_morland thanks for the suggestion. If theres one thing I don't know how to mix properly its drums. I'm a little confused as to whether to include the overheads and other ambient mics in the mix as well as my software reverb? is it a bad idea to mix the two? Thanks again for the feedback
