Axiom pad sensitivity compared to padKontrol?

So I just ordered Guru - whohoo!

I have a Axiom61 that has 8 pads I can use to control 8 out of the 8 Guru pads, but after testing these out with the Guru demo, I'm not thrilled with the sensitivity of the Axioms pads.

I'm considering the Korg padKontrol. Not only would it match Guru's 16 pads, but I'm guessing/hoping the sensitivity and feel of the pads would be an improvement over the Axiom61 pads.

Can anyone who has used the pads on an Axiom (any of the Axioms, I'm sure the pads are the same) who has also used a padKontrol tell me whether they noticed a difference in the quality of pads?

Any other thoughts on the subject?

I haven't used the Axioms but the pads on the padkontrol (which I do own) are really pretty sensitive are their current state. And they can be altered to taste also. http://forums.undergroundhiphop.com/rea ... earchYear=

I got the padkontrol and love it alot, the axiom pads to me felt weird compared. The padkontrol's just felt better.
