just curious as to what software you're using to create these wavs
windows media player says it cannot play them because they are pcm format. which seems a bit strange nowadays.

It's 24-bit yeah, nothing special really. I never use WMP, but I just tried and it doesn't play for me either (still v9). No problem with Winamp though
