Tis a superb song. That mad bit in the middle only makes it better.

And

PIL - Ease.

Obviously John Lydon is a tosser and Steve Vai is a widdly hair guitarist wanker. This song is top though.

seen Pil, got the first three records, even have "Pied Piper" on a comp, have never heard post-Levine Pil, won't...

'Album' is good. Honest..

But if you won't you won't.

Not even for a bit of 12 string on 'Rise'? Classic pop single.

 susan and norman, you're so normal.

:hihi: Indeed, I bought it first time round in 1985 as 'album' on vinyl onviously. This time it was called 'compact disc' when I got it from HMV a few months back.

Still, John lydon, Steve Vai, Bill Laswell, Ginger Baker. Nice line up.

i heard a song "this is what you want this is what you get" on a vid many many moons ago, no idea what it was from...it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't Flowers of Romance or Careering or anything off that live french cassette i listened to a thousand times...

let me rephrase: a good chance i won't as i won't run out and buy it today...if i ever get off my duff and actually purchase muzak for my mp3 player, i'll have a listen...

wholey shite, i just read wiki about Pil, i thought Martin Atkins was the drummer throughout Metal Box (second edition in the states), actually i thought he was on the first, i guess i should have read liner notes...i met him through a friend at the time and was pretty intimidated...WHY I DON'T f**king KNOW!

Indeed.

Metel box. Me mate bought it from a record fair for £5. In the actual metal tin; 3 12" discs in there. Must be worth a fair whack now. Musically, it wasn't my thing. It was shite. But then again I wasn't a great fan of reggie then. Jah Wobble's bass is tops now. Keith Levine (was he on metel box?) Godlike on the indie rokk geetar, more or less invented it.

Oh aye,

Led Zep- Kashmir. I know, corny as f**k, but its lomg

Evening.

How are you? And what are you listening to at this moment Freq? (Can I call you Freq? You can call me Donkey if you want).

Personally I'm listening to 'Heroin' by the popular 60s beat combo 'the velvet underground'. It might glorify the taking of drugs. I couldn't possibly comment except to say that I'm off out to the phone box in liccle london.

And now, 'all tomorrows parties'. And I've got the day off work tomorrow too. Do you see what I've done there freq?

Still, 'the velvet underground', not really acid jazz nor the trip hop, nor really 60s crapola.

Do tell.
