My lovely wife dropped a phone on my BCR and snapped off one of the knobs.

Ive taken all the screws out put cant seem to remove the plastic side panels. Does anyone know if they're just clipped in there? Im a bit wary of how much force to use.

Luke knows.

I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

So are the BCR knobs crap or are you a bit rough ?

Actualy my friend and I were on mushrooms and we had the brilliant idea to move all of our equipment into his living room. Many things were dropped and tripped over. In the end, we were left with half our stuff in a tangled mess in the hall, and very confused.

Forgot about this post, nice to come back and find a load of innuendo :)

I initially glued the cap back on but its since become detached again.

Build quality of the BCR isnt great, but for £80 I think its a bargain.

The post which connects the pot to the cap is made of plastic so its no wonder they break so well.

Probably have another go at getting the side panels off this weekend, not looking forward to it.

I used both super glue and even some gorilla glue at one point.

Reattaching should be ok, but the whole pot has bent so it doesn't turn straight and catches at the edges. Thats why i wanted to get it open, try to straighten it or possibly replace it.
