Please post here instead of in that thread.
To summarize: flitchSplifter_1.0_demo and resolator_1.02_demo (maybe other Smartelectronix plugins? let us know if you find any?) are having trouble working in the Cakewalk VST-DX adapter. While scanning for VST plugins these plugins are reported to have caused a "serious error" at "Close Editor". We are currently looking into this.

Ive seen this on a fair few plugins. As long as the adaptor option to retry failed plugins is set on, then the plugin is successfully wrapped, and can be used in Sonar without problem.
I was able to open Resolator in Sonar last night, without problems.
Anarchy Rhythms is one such other plugin which displays this behaviour. It too works fine within Sonar.

I have just found out where the problem lies...
but, it seems like i have to change quite a few things in my gui
stuff to make it work in VST-DX Adapter, so this might take
awhile...

the problem isnt as bad as it
first seemed ... looks like i fixed it..
please try again with resolator 1.03:

its working for me now in the VST-DX adapter..
( i only tried in an old orion platinum, which is the only dx host
i have installed )
please let me know if it also works in sonar, etc..
