Wow - what a slick little synth this is! - I downed the demo and everything on it works perfectly - the help function is the best I've ever seen - just click on the image of the synth and the help takes you directly to the section for that part of the synth you just clicked on. I've never seen a synth that was so intuitive and easy to use. I rarely play with the controls but Simsynth just pulled me in! All the controls are smooth and responsive. A wealth of on-board effects are of exceptional quality for a synth in this price class! Most all the presets are very rich, detailed and polished. I only have two complaints - the labels on the controls are hard to read (not a big problem because the help function covers them in sequence) and some of the levels on presets were not normalized - some too quiet, some too loud. For $35, a person would have to be crazy not to get this synth IMO!

I have this but don't use it anymore because the VST version does not have portamento/monophonic mode. It doesn't right? It's been a while since I used it.
