Nice sounding kit. Know what would be really cool? DK+ rythm tracks to use with it. I know that's a lot of work, but then, maybe somebody already has samba midis?

Here's a Dk+ kit I just made. All the red patterns are samba rythyms, the blue ones are hip hop rythyms, and the cyan ones are experimental. I made them at 90 bpm, so they may sound wonky if you use them a lot faster than that. If you do try 140 bpm, for instance, then use the '8t' step button.james0tucson wrote:Nice sounding kit. Cool! E is probably my favorite for the samba ones.liqih wrote:freeztar wrote:So what did you think of them?liqih wrote:cool, I'm getting this now

Indeed, Surdo hits in samba are usually on the first and/or second beat of a 2/4 rythym. There are exceptions, though maybe I need to listen to it again with this in mind.the surdo 1 on step 7 in N is not very samba though,
better on 8
That would definitly give greater accuracy and I don't know why I didn't start with that in the first place. I still have a lot of experimenting to do with DK+, it's so much fun to work with.try 32 steps patterns
