i had the same problems as LaGrange did. so i just did a search on my hard drive for all of the related Independence Free files and deleted the damn thing.. for a few soundsets, it just wasn't worth all the fuckin trouble.

Haven't managed to get the registration to work, but I'll keep trying. This one looks interesting.

Was able to download both parts overnight via Firefox. Main install and library install went ok....Adding a 500db mute to one poster...priceless.
We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

I'm still getting 'internal server error' when I try to go from the main page to either the German or English sites. Guess I'll just have to wait for the server load to go down.

I ran all night, plus today at slow around 29 kb/sec; showed dl complete, but only 1.3 gb; file invalid or corrupt; no files to extract; went back to site to see server error....
not real happy about it right now.

hi,
finally, it arrives complete here last night.
Installed this afternoon, and working perfectly with Samplitude v9.
As I'm not a great user of midi stuff, I work a lot with freebies, so this one is very nice for my use !
cheers
Phil

What are the proper settings for this in Download Them All in Firefox?
I've never used it, but will give it a go if I can figure it out. :help:

Just install it, then just click on the file as normal. But instead of using "Save as", just use DTA. Nothing to set up. You can also use the right click menu to download any or all links on a page, or put a button on your taskbars. Allows resuming, multiple threads, etc.
Just go to the getfirefox.com and find it, install it from that site, and restart. Should work perfectly.
