axiom playing wrong notes

my axiom 49 plays the note two steps above the key i press. for example, when i press c1 i get e1. i'm new to midi keyboards so if anyone can help i'd appreciate it.

Is it new? If so I would just return it as I do not think there is a way to set it to transpose just a couple of steps.
If its not new, there should be a way to reset it to the factory defaults. I would look in the manual and see

Did you check if the transpose function was accidentally changed? The two buttons that transpose the octave - push them together and see what the readout says. That's your semitone transpose....

Yeah check what Opulent just said as I was reading in the manual about that. Did not know it was a feature of the Axiom. If you dont have the manual you can download it here

Yeah, I like this feature. It may be a cheater's tool, but it's nice to be able to throw your keyboard into any key and play as if it were C maj/A min.
