Hi Folks,

Just in case anyone gets confused looking at the prize listing put forth by Pro-Sounds, here's a quick run-down.

1. 1 Pro-Sounds Sound Design Session

This is the big prize we gave this year (well, to us its big :P ), worth just under $2,000.00 considering our most current rates (which have been lowered to a fixed rate due to the launch of our Professional Services).

Basically, this means that the developer who wins this prize gets a free set of 128 custom, professionally designed presets for one of his or her synthesizers or effects. We will offer you the same level of service we give to the companies that hire us to do factory and add-on sets for their products, just as if you were paying. This can be put toward any product the winner currently has available, or any product the developer is planning to release. So, you can have us do the factory set for your instrument/effect soon to be released, or a bonus set for one you already have out.

2. 1 PS-1 Vsti License + free upgrade version 2 (when released)

Now this one, I'm not sure how Tuz is handling it (whether he's making the PS-1 available as a prize to someone else, or whether the winner of prize number 1 gets the PS-1 also), but I'll check and report back. Either way, I think this one is self explanatory. :)

Hi there,

regarding the first price. Just to understand this correct. The price is only for synths/effects the winner has developed himself not for any third party products?
What about a synth I didn't develop but I like and use a lot. Would you make presets for this one too?

Cheers,

Good point, I've been considering this myself. Well, sure, I suppose if the developer who wins does not have any product for the service to take advantage of, then we'd have to make it a custom bank for any other synth you would prefer. So in that respect, you'd have a full bank of custom presets that were only useable by you, and those you gave permission to.

Yep, that's fine by me if need be. 8)

@Stefancrs: Thank you sir! We're excited to see who wins it :)
